2025 AVCA Small College National Champions

The University of Tampa beach volleyball team capped off a flawless postseason run with three wins on Championship Saturday to claim the AVCA Small College Beach National Championship. After cruising past 2022 national champion Colorado Mesa and Sunshine State Conference rival Palm Beach Atlantic, the Spartans edged Concordia University Irvine in a thrilling title match, finishing the tournament 7–0 without dropping a dual. UT would cap a 21-8 season with 17 straight wins for the 3-peat.

2024 AVCA Small College National Champions

Tampa captured its fourth AVCA Small College Championship and went back-to-back for the first time in program history. The program is unbeaten in championship matches, boasting a perfect 4-0 record in clinching matches. After adding an additional title, the Spartans have now won four titles in its seven-year existence. UT concluded the 2024 campaign with a 25-9, defeating Concordia University, Irvine by a score of 3-2 in the championship match.

2023 AVCA Small College National Champions

The Spartans continued to be a dominant powerhouse in Division II after winning its third national title in the last five years that the championships have been played. They have appeared in three national championship matches, and are a perfect three for three. The 2023 Spartans capped a 21-13 season with a 4-0 victory over Colorado Mesa in the national championship match. Julia Oswald became the first 3-time national champion player for Tampa, as the top pairs player competed in all three championship matches.

2021 AVCA Small College National Champions

Following the cancellation of the 2020 championships, the Spartans made it back-to-back as the AVCA Small College National Champions. It also marked the second in three tries for the program that was established in 2018. Tampa took the title in a 3-0 victory over Spring Hill College. UT finished the season with eight-straight victories, as it capped the championship season with a 19-11 overall record.

2019 AVCA Small College National Champions

The sandy Spartans earned their first AVCA Small College National Championship title as only a second-year program, after finishing fourth at the AVCA Small College Championships in its inaugural season. In the championship match, UT defeated Texas A&M Kingsville in by a final score of 3-0. History has been made, as Tampa Beach Volleyball becomes the first team in history to win a title both indoors and on the beach in the same season.
